The couple, who tied the knot in September 2022, welcomed their bundle of joy on Monday. The delighted new father shared the happy news on social media this morning.

Posting photos of himself and his wife cradling their newborn, Japheth wrote:

‘’Baby J is here. Our joy is full. My dimples are happy, from the first to the last slide

I am still in awe.

I looked into a face and eyes that looked like mine. Started with some explorative blinks, then the fullness of life. Small beautiful eyes. Already piercing and soulful.

I used to believe in God. At that moment, I could not think of anything other than the truth that hung in my head; surely, there is a God. It was not a reminder, it was an affirmation.

I am in awe.

This is a gift from above. The Almighty’s answer. His image, likeness and spirit, with my own eyes, seen through mine.

I was in awe of the miracle of creation. This couldn’t have been made by us. Had to be an immaculate conception, so I thought. But Baby J isn’t Jesus. Once we decided it was time, Daddy worked, Mummy worked, the Lord blessed. Baby J is here. Glory to God, amen!”
