The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has announced a new feature on its electronic Central Motor Registry (e-CMR) portal, allowing individuals and organizations to register multiple vehicles at once through the Fleet Registration option.
The initiative is aimed at simplifying the process for businesses, government agencies, and private individuals managing large numbers of vehicles. According to the NPF, the feature eliminates the need for repetitive manual entries, making bulk registrations faster and more efficient.
How It Works
Existing Users: Those who already have an e-CMR profile can log in, navigate to the Request page, and select “Fleet” under CMR Request to add new vehicles.
- New Users: Individuals or organizations registering for the first time must create an account before accessing the fleet option.
The NPF emphasized that the new system is designed to enhance convenience while maintaining security standards for vehicle documentation.
