Earlier today, the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government (SSG), Dr. Abdulkadir Meyare, chaired a pre-meeting with the Secretaries to the State Governments (SSGs) of all 19 Northern states at the Kaduna State Government House.
The meeting was part of a strategic session to align on logistics, security, and key agenda items ahead of the high-profile forum.
A government insider told Spear News that governors from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will also hold private discussions about the 2027 elections and the region’s political positioning during the event.
Kaduna State, hosting under Governor Uba Sani’s leadership, cements its status as the North’s premier political and economic gathering place with this high-profile summit.
Security has been tightened across the state capital, with enhanced surveillance and traffic management plans in place to ensure a smooth and secure event.
