The Rivers State Government has approved the payment of salaries for civil servants, pensioners, and suspended political appointees for March 2025.
A statement issued on Friday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibibia Worika, confirmed the approval by the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral (Rtd) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas CFR.
According to the statement, the Administrator has directed the Accountant-General to ensure that payments are processed without delay.
The move he said aligns with the government’s commitment to fulfilling its obligations to workers and retirees in the state.
