The Akwa Ibom State Government statewide environmental sanitation exercise will hold on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The State Commissioner for Information, Mr Aniekan Umanah who made the announcements said that during this period, human and vehicular movement will be restricted to ensure compliance.
He said the Chairman of the State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency will work with security agencies to enforce the directive.
According to the Commissioner, “Residents are urged to actively participate in the exercise. Community leaders have also been directed to mobilize members for full compliance”.
